What Makes This Dataset Different

Landscape lighting design advice is usually either a single blog post about one yard type, or a vague "hire a designer" recommendation. This dataset structures 31 design and planning topics — layout, spacing, color temperature, beam spread, and space-specific approaches — into one consistent schema, deliberately excluding symptom/failure-diagnosis topics (covered separately in the Diagnostic Tree Dataset) to keep this one focused purely on design decisions.

It is built from PortfolioLighting.net's own design content library, restructured for reuse in layout-planning tools, cost estimators, and RAG pipelines.
